Friends of Alhaji Olayinka Ibrahim Awodi from different parts of Nigeria on Saturday joined members of the Awodi family from Ilorin, Kwara State capital, at Ibafo, Ogun State, to witness the wedding of Musa Ibrahim and Opeyemi Khadijah.
The event was a mixture of Islamic tradition and rich Ilorin culture.
Popular Islamic cleric and former Lagos State Commissioner for Home Affair, Dr AbdulHakeem Abdullateef, was on hand to feed the new couple and guests at the event with spiritual diet and guide on how to live a purposeful and enjoyable married life.
He urged the couple to stand united and be good ambassadors of their families even as he warned them not to treat their parents with disdain.
