Police on Monday morning arraigned popular singer Portable at the Ota Magistrate Court in Ogun State.
He is facing more than six charges bordering on alleged assault.
“He is in court. There’s nothing to elaborate on. He is in court presently. He has been arraigned,” Abimbola Oyeyemi, Ogun State police spokesperson, was quoted as saying on Monday morning.
Portable was arrested on Friday after the expiration of the 72-hour ultimatum given to him by the police to turn himself in.
The ‘Zazoo Zeh’ crooner’s ordeal started last Tuesday after resisting arrest by the police.
He was said to have assaulted some police who came to invite some workers of his resort for questioning.
