The Osun State Police Command has revealed that eight suspects have been arrested in connection with the killing of a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Alli Kazeem, also known as Kekere Kazuma, in the state.
The spokesperson of the Command, Yemisi Opalola, confirmed the development in a statement she issued on Sunday.
Opalola said Kazeem, who was also the Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, was whisked away by his assailants and killed at about 9:50pm on Saturday.

“The area commander, Ikire, promptly mobilised combined team of a vigilante and police detectives to the scene where it was discovered that the victim left the motor park at Apomu and was traced to Oke-Afa area, from where he was forcefully stopped, drawn out of his car with registration number APM 203 AA, macheted and taken away by the assailants.”
