Police arrest officers caught begging money from foreign female biker
The Oyo State Police Command said it had arrested the officers begging for money from a foreigner who was on a bike trip to Abuja.
The incident was captured on the body cam of the female bike along Moniya Road, Oyo State.
The Nigeria Police Force Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, addressed the issue on Thursday, stating that disciplinary actions would be taken against the implicated officer.

In a post on the X platform, he confirmed that all those involved have been arrested for disciplinary actions.
“Viral video portraying the regrettable misconduct of certain policemen along Moniya-Iseyin Road has been accessed. All those involved have been apprehended for immediate disciplinary actions. Supervision will be increased. Please report any misconduct to Xsquad on +2348023535470,” the post read.
In the video sighted by newstrends, the police officers demanded money from the biker who was coming from the Netherlands.
Speaking in pidgin, the officers said, “Wetin you bring come? Wetin you won give me. O yah give me something nah.”
