In the two videos, Portable claimed that an internet fraudster had brought the police to his bar to arrest some workers “for no reason.”

The police who condemned the singer’s actions also threatened to prosecute him.

Spokesman for the Ogun State Police Command, Abimbola Oyeyemi, confirmed that the singer was arrested on Friday and was currently at the state headquarters of the police in Eleweran, Abeokuta.

Portable was on Wednesday given a three-day ultimatum to report himself to the police.

This was after the singer resisted attempts by the police to arrest him and  referred to himself as “a Federal Government liability”.
