Anambra State Police command’s spokesperson, DSP Toochukwu Ikenga
Anambra State Police Command said its operatives killed two gunmen on Obosi Nkpor Road, in Idemili North council of the state.
Police spokesman, Tochukwu Ikenga, in a statement yesterday, said the hoodlums were killed during a gun battle.
He said one Pump Action gun, a locally-made pistol and red Toyota Corolla car with were recovered from the hoodlums.

He said police operatives also rescued two suspects from mob action along Zik’s Avenue, Awka, adding that the suspects were caught with a pistol while attempting to rob a young lady who just withdrew money from an Automatic Teller Machine (ATM).
Ikenga said the suspects were beaten to stupor by a mob before they were rescued.
