Police nab 2 suspected robbers in Lagos

Police in Lagos have detained two men suspected of robbing a woman at her shop in the Imude area of Ojo Local Government.

The suspects, identified as Musa Ibrahim, 30, and Ibrahim Danjuma, 22, were taken into custody following the incident.

Lagos State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, shared the news via a post on X.com on Sunday.

He stated, “Musa Ibrahim, aged 30, and Ibrahim Danjuma, aged 22, committed a robbery at around 11pm in the Imude area of Ojo LGA. The police were promptly notified, and a patrol team from the Ilemba Hausa Division responded quickly.

“The suspects were arrested with the assistance of community members. A locally made firearm was seized. This incident underscores the importance of community involvement in ensuring security.”
