Policeman dead as gunmen attack another station in Ebonyi

Another policeman was killed when gunmen in the early hours of Thursday invaded Obiozara police station in Ohaozara local government area of Ebonyi state.

The gunmen, who invaded the station around 3am, razed office of the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) and the admin building.

A source within the area noted the main police station at the LGA was burnt down during the #EndSARS protest.

The gunmen attacked the temporary station police operatives were using as office.

Police spokesman Loveth Odah confirmed the attack.

She said the gunmen invaded the station in large numbers.

The attack coincided with a similar incident in Anambra State where two policemen were killed on Thursday.
