Popular socialite attempts suicide at third mainland bridge
Popular socialite, Farida Sobowale of House of Phreda has been reportedly rescued after an alleged attempt to jump into the lagoon from the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos.
According to a report by QED. NG, Sobowale, on Thursday night, drove her Lexus SUV to the bridge, alighted and was about to jump into the lagoon when some men rescued her.

A video which has gone viral on social media captured the married socialite dressed in black weeping as she was held by some men.
She was reportedly taken to a police station afterwards.
This comes amid rumour that Sobowale’s luxury wedding two months ago in Lagos had ended.
