Portable now in our custody – Ogun Police Command
The Ogun State Police Command has confirmed that wanted popular Nigerian muscian, Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, is now in its custody.
Spokesperson for Ogun Police Command, CSP Omolola Odutola said in a statement that Portable is now being held at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Eleweran, Abeokuta
Odutola said Portable who had earlier surrendered to the police in Lagos arrived the SCID at exactly 13:23 hours today, February 19, 2025.
Recall that the Ogun State Police Command had declared Portable “Portable”, wanted over his alleged involvement in a violent attack on government officials carrying out their lawful duties on Monday.

Portable, according to police led a gang of boys to attack officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development who were on assignment around his business premises on 5 February.
“The enforcement officers sustained various bodily injuries but managed to escape and reported the incident to the Ota Area Command, which subsequently escalated the case to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further action,” the police said.
While nine of his accomplices were arrested, Portable evaded arrest prompting the Ogun State Police Command to obtain a valid court order declaring him wanted.
The Command assured the public that due process will be followed in handling this matter, and updates will be provided as necessary.
“We urge members of the public to remain calm and avoid spreading unverified information. The Ogun State Police Command remains committed to upholding justice and maintaining public order,” said Odutola.
