Protest: Kano judiciary hunting for gun, other exhibits stolen from court
The Public Relations Officer of the Kano Courts, Baba Jibo Ibrahim, has revealed that many exhibits, including a gun, looted during the recent attack on the State High Court, are still missing. Ibrahim disclosed this information while speaking on Monday.
“Up until this moment, the statistics of the exhibits that have not been recovered are many, including a gun. We are still compiling the list of the exhibits to take inventory. A committee has been set up to do that, and they are still working to compile their report,” he said.

The attack on the Kano High Court at Audu Bako Secretariat on the first day of the protests led to the destruction and looting of numerous valuables.
In response, the police spokesman in Kano, Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, has urged the public to remain vigilant, avoid mingling with large crowds, and report any suspicious activities or unfamiliar persons to the police.
