Railway Property Company unveils 10-year development programme
Mr. Zalanga emphasized the retreat’s importance, stating, “We are here for the 2024 management retreat to develop a 10-year strategic vision for the company. Our major challenge is enhancing our capacity and adapting to the changes of present times.”
The retreat’s focus was on addressing various issues from the company’s zonal and area offices and exploring ways to improve operations through technology. “We are looking at all the issues from our zonal and area offices to see how we can improve our operations using technology as a basis for which we are to operate in the next 10 years,” Zalanga explained.

He highlighted that the retreat aimed to improve human capacity and operational efficiency in alignment with the company’s strategic focus, core mandate, and values. “We will build capacity using all manner of technology to drive the company’s focus and objective,” he added.
Mr. Zalanga also mentioned the company’s goal to set operational and efficiency targets to position itself as a leading real estate company in Nigeria. He noted that the strategic plan developed during the retreat would be communicated to all employees, ensuring they understood the company’s direction for improved operations.
Overall, the RPMCL aims to leverage technology to enhance its operations and achieve its vision of becoming Nigeria’s top real estate company over the next decade.
