In a stunning development, prominent American rapper Lil Durk, born Durk Banks, was reportedly arrested Thursday night in Florida on murder-for-hire charges.

According to reports from XXL Magazine, he is currently held without bond at Broward County Jail, awaiting transfer to the custody of U.S. Marshals.

The charges against Lil Durk are tied to the 2022 killing of Saviay’a Robinson, the cousin of rapper Quando Rondo.

Authorities believe the tragic incident is part of an ongoing gang feud, suggesting it may have been retaliation for Quando Rondo’s alleged involvement in the 2020 murder of Chicago rapper King Von in Atlanta—a case that drew significant media and fan attention due to its high-profile nature.
