Regina Daniels’ brother, Sammy West, released on bail after four days in police custody
Sammy West, brother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has regained his freedom after spending four days in police custody.
His detention followed the ongoing marital dispute between his sister and her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, which has drawn intense public and media attention in recent weeks.
Sources said Sammy was arrested on the orders of Senator Nwoko over alleged offences bordering on criminal conspiracy, trespass, assault, intimidation, theft, and cyberbullying.

The arrest came amid escalating tensions between the couple, who have been exchanging accusations since their reported separation.
Regina Daniels had earlier accused her husband of domestic abuse and other forms of mistreatment, while Nwoko alleged that members of the actress’s family and close friends were hindering her rehabilitation efforts.
Following his release, Sammy’s elder brother took to Instagram to confirm the development, expressing appreciation to everyone who stood by the family throughout the ordeal.
“We are grateful to everyone who showed support and spoke out during this challenging time,” he wrote.
As of press time, neither Regina Daniels nor Senator Ned Nwoko has officially commented on Sammy West’s release.
