Remove Wike or be removed from office – Gumi tells Tinubu

Kaduna based Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, has urged President Bola Tinubu to dismiss FCT minister, Nyesom Wike, or face removal from office.

Gumi warned that President Tinubu’s failure to sack Wike would lead to a clash between him and Muslims across the country.

In a video sermon lasting over 14 minutes posted on his official Facebook page, Gumi branded Wike as “satanic” for hosting the Israeli Ambassador to Nigeria in his office. He claimed that Wike’s collaboration with the Israelis on Abuja’s security would transform Abuja into an extension of Tel Aviv, potentially putting individuals resembling Muslims at risk.

Gumi emphasized, “Tinubu should understand that we are aware of their plan. He must make a choice. Either he removes the Minister of Abuja, or we will confront him. When the day of reckoning arrives, nothing can be hidden.”
