A robbery suspect, Biodun Rasheed, who reportedly dressed like a herder, has been arrested in Ogun State.
The operatives of the Ogun Police Command arrested him during a robbery operation.
Policemen attached to Kemta divisional headquarters in Odeda Local Government Area had received a distress call that robbers were operating at mile 6 along Ajebo road, Abeokuta.

The Police spokesman, Abimbola Oyeyemi, on Thursday, told newsmen that following the distress call, the DPO Kemta division, CSP Opebiyi Sunday, quickly mobilised his patrol team who were joined by men of So Safe Corps and vigilante group of Nigeria.
“On sighting the security men, the robbers took to their heels, but they were hotly chased and one of them Biodun Rasheed, who dressed like Fulani herdsmen to hid his identity was arrested on the spot,” he said.
Oyeyemi said the suspect “is currently helping the police in their efforts to apprehend the remaining members of the gang.”
He quoted the Commissioner of Police, Lanre Bankole, to have ordered the immediate transfer of the suspect to state criminal investigation and intelligence department for discreet investigation.
