Ronaldo sentenced to 99 lashes for hugging woman in Iran
Al-Nassr striker Cristiano Ronaldo has been sentenced to 99 lashes for hugging an unmarried woman while taking a photo with her in Iran.
In that country a man is not allowed to touch a woman and will receive. Ronaldo will receive punishment if he travels to Iran again.
Al-Nassr faced Persepolis in the Asian Champions League and Luis Castro’s squad travelled to Iran for the match. Ronaldo met an Iranian painter who is a big fan of the Portuguese footballer.

According to Iranian outlet ‘Shark Emroz’, several Iranian lawyers sued Ronaldo for adultery when the video went viral on social media. A man is not allowed to touch an unmarried woman in Iran.
‘Shark Emroz’ reports that a court sentenced him to 99 lashes which he will take the next time he sets foot on Iranian soil.
