Sanwo-Olu orders arrests of ‘military officer’ riding motorcycle against traffic (Video)
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Tuesday, arrested an officer of the Nigerian Army for riding against traffic.
The governor was on his way to commission a conference center built by the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, at Lagos State University (LASU) when the incident happened.
Videos posted on X by an aide to the governor showed commercial motorcycle riders and soldiers plying one-way along the Lagos-Badagry Expressway leaving their motorcycles and passengers upon sighting the convoy of Sanwo-Olu.

However, one of the offenders, a lance corporal in the Nigerian Army, was arrested with his bike.
The officer could be heard telling the governor that he is an army officer, while Sanwo-Olu replied that he is going to lock him up because of that.
