Security operatives uncover kidnappers den in Anambra, victim rescued
A kidnapper’s hideout in Umuduru, Ihiala Local Government Area, Anambra State, has been dismantled by a joint security team comprising police, military, and vigilante forces.
The operation led to the rescue of a kidnapped victim, who was found unhurt, according to a statement issued by the state police command on Tuesday.

The command’s spokesperson, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, revealed that the breakthrough followed the arrest of a suspect weeks earlier. The suspect’s confession reportedly exposed the gang’s activities in the region, particularly in Ihiala.
The statement added that the victim has been reunited with their family, while further operations are ongoing.
