Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has appointed former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode into the Presidential Campaign Council.
The list released by the campaign council late Friday showed a former governor of Enugu State and a serving PDP senator, Chimaroke Nnamani, as a member.
Fani-Kayode was named Director, New Media of the APC Presidential Campaign Council.
Bashir Ahmad was appointed the Deputy Director, New Media to the presidential council.
Nnamani was appointed by Tinubu as a member of Local Government Directorate of the APC Presidential Campaign Council.
He is also currently the 2023 senatorial candidate under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The senator is the man in charge of virtually all the PDP structures in Enugu State.
Nnamani has never hidden his admiration and support for Tinubu, but he has not resigned from the PDP.
The senator took to the media recently showering eulogies on Tinubu as the best governor in Nigeria during his time.
Also on the campaign list is the Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and the former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi.
The APC Presidential Campaign Council has 422 members that will champion the campaign for the election of Tinubu as president net year.
The campaign council has President Muhammadu Buhari as the chairman, while the APC’s Presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, is the deputy chairman.
Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong, is the Director General of the council, former Edo Governor, Adams Oshiomhole is the Deputy Director General.
While APC Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu is the Deputy Chairman II, Senator Kashim Shettima is the Vice Chairman of the council.
Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola has been included on the list as Director, Election Planning and Monitoring.
