SHOCKING!: Peter Obi’s phone goes missing during PEPC sitting

The phone belonging to Mr. Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate for the election scheduled for February 25th, is purportedly stolen on Tuesday at the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) located in the Court of Appeal in Abuja.

Throughout the court hearings, Obi, who was dressed in his typical black outfit, sat next to Ahmed Baba Datti, his running mate.

Obi found that his cell phone was missing during the Court’s proceedings in his case contesting Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s declaration as the victor of the presidential election on February 25.

As at the time of filing this report, it was not clear whether he has found his phone.

It was the tradition of the Labour Party’s presidential candidate to be present anytime his petition comes up for hearing.

Obi and his party, in their joint petition marked CA/PEPC/03/2023 are seeking the nullification of Tinubu’s election on the ground of substantial non compliance with the Constitution, the Electoral Act and INEC’’s guidelines for the conduct of the election.
