The Director of New Media, APC Presidential Campaign Council, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has said that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, was trying to deceive the South-East geopolitical zone with his promise of serving a single term if elected in 2023.
He stated this in a Facebook post on Wednesday.
Quoting popular comments made by Atiku and his close associates, Fani-Kayode said that the promises contained in the comments were lies.
The APC chieftain said that Atiku should not be trusted because he made promises to Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State but failed to fulfill them, plunging the main opposition party into crisis.

Recall that Wike said that Atiku promised him that National Chairman of the party, Senator Iyorchia Ayu, who is a Northerner, would be made to step down if another Northerner emerged presidential candidate.
Wike was also said to have recommended Donald Duke as running mate to Atiku but he snubbed the recommendation and picked Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State.
Fani-Kayode, who is a former Minister of Aviation, dared the PDP candidate to sign an undertaking that he would only serve for a single term in office.
See post:
“Igbos would take Presidency after Atiku”- Emeka Ihedioha.
“Igbos will be President after me”- Abubakar Atiku.
“Atiku will only do a single term of 4 years”- Raymond Dokpesi.
.
When will Atiku sign that he will do only one term and that he will give the Presidency to the SE after he has finished?
Or has he gone to deceive the Igbos just like he deceived Wike.
Wike never wanted to be his running mate.
He actually wanted Atiku to take Duke.
Atiku ruled Duke out and insisted in taking Wike.
It was a ruse. He later dropped him, betrayed him and took Okowa.
Is this the kind of man anyone can trust when he says he will only do one term?
Atiku Ibn Dubai cannot be trusted.
He is shifty in all his ways and can best be described as the “artful dodger”.
