Six-month car fueling, other prizes for visitors at 2025 Lagos Motor Fair/Autoparts Expo
As the countdown begins for the 2025 edition of the Lagos Motor Fair/Autoparts Expo, the organisers, BKG Exhibitions Limited, have announced a number of amazing prizes for visitors to the fair.
A six-month fueling of car will be offered as a grand prize apart from daily gift items including new batteries lined for visitors.
The event is slated to hold between 12 and 14 March, 2025 at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos with the auto parts conference as part of the innovation this year.
Chairman of the Organising Committee for the show, Mr. Ifeanyichukwu Agwu, disclosed this in a new flyer released to the public.
Agwu, who doubles as the managing director of BKG Exhibitions, said, “The fair will be a landmark and a benchmark in auto show business in the entire West African sub-region.
“The all-inclusive event has been packaged to ensure that all stakeholders have a rewarding experience.
“This edition will feature a maiden one-day Autoparts Markets Leaders’ Conference/Summit, where papers on topical issues in the automotive business in Nigeria will be delivered by experts drawn from diverse fields related to the industry.
“It is geared towards making the event an all-round and encompassing automotive show.”
The aim of this novel conference, according to him, is to help in forging a united front amongst the traders and other stakeholders in the production, importation, distribution and sale of automotive component parts in the Nigerian market, which incidentally controls most of the other markets in Sub-Sahara Africa.
Agwu gave the theme of the conference/summit as ‘Transforming the Automotive Component Parts Industry in Nigeria: Leadership Strategies for Growth and Sustainability’.
He said the conference would equally treat issues such as “Transforming the Automotive Component Parts Industry in Nigeria, challenges and opportunities”, “Building a Central Leadership for the Automotive Component Parts Markets in Nigeria for greater efficiency”, “Exploring Local Manufacturing to reduce Dependence on Imports”, and “Partnership with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) – Building relationship with local and foreign OEMs to ensure steady supply of quality parts”.
Other topics for discussion are “Negotiating Bulk purchase/agreement with manufacturers”, “Establishing trust and collaboration between distributors and OEMs”, and, “Effective Supply Chain Management in the Automotive Component Parts Industry”.
This exclusive gathering, he said, would also bring together key stakeholders from major markets in Nigeria to interact with each other to enhance the building of a central leadership for the automotive component parts in Nigeria for greater cohesion and efficiency and OEMs participating in the event.
He added that notable banks and insurance companies, major oil companies, manufacturers and dealers in auto-spare parts and accessories had booked to participate at the event.
