There was palpable tension at a checkpoint near an Air Force base as Nigerian soldiers and policemen engaged in a heated physical altercation, briefly disrupting traffic.

A now-viral video, shared by IntelRegion, captured the moment a soldier and a policeman were locked in a fierce struggle on a busy road.

The situation escalated when other soldiers intervened, dragging a police officer toward the Air Force base as he resisted.

While the cause of the clash remains unclear, the footage has sparked widespread reactions, with many questioning the recurring tensions between security agencies.

However, an X user speculated that the background resembled the Air Force base at Jeddo, near Warri Refinery in Delta State.
