Mr Anthony Uga,

FRSC Sector Commander for Ogun State, Mr Anthony Uga, said this on Wednesday in Abeokuta during the command’s 2024 first quarter workshop.

He said the device would be a means of reducing road crashes in the country.

He spoke at the workshop on the theme “Aggressive Public Enlightenment on the merits of Speed Limit Device Installation in all Vehicles as a Panacea to Stemming RTC in Ogun”.

Uga noted that excessive speeding caused over 90 per cent of road traffic crashes (RTCs) in the state.

”The speed limit device has come to stay because the device has saved many lives,” he said, urging motorists to comply with the speed limit device policy.

The Sector Commander disclosed that the FRSC would be embarking on aggressive enforcement on the use of speed limit device.
