Submit Yourself To Party Supremacy, Wike Urged

Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has been urged to stop inflaming the crisis in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the party to regain the presidency in the 2023 general elections.

A chieftain of the PDP in Nasarawa State, Alhaji Mohammed Naseer KB, who made the call, described the war of words by the Rivers State as ‘’highly disastrous and uncalled for.’’

“The ways and manner in which Governor Wike has been persistently turning his face away from all the reconciliatory  efforts the party stakeholders are making clearly indicates that he is not a true party man that could be relied upon or trusted,” he said.

He also berated governors Samuel Ortom of Benue, Seyi Makinde of Oyo and Okezie Ikpeazu, of Abia for undermining the interest of the party and advised the party hierarchy to sanction them for sabotaging the general interest of the party to serve as deterrent to others.

He, however, observed that Wike and his cohorts might have been deceived by their political allies during the national convention of the party that produced Atiku Abubakar as its presidential flag bearer but that he should bear in mind that there are other opportunities for loyal and committed party members especially.
