Suicide bomber kills 10, injures 7 in Borno market attack
At least 10 people were killed and seven others injured on Friday night when a suspected Boko Haram suicide bomber detonated an explosive device at a crowded fish market in Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State.
According to security sources and eyewitness accounts shared with security analyst and counter-insurgency expert Zagazola Makama, the attacker gained access to the market by blending in with civilians before triggering the device.

The explosion killed the suicide bomber and 10 civilians instantly, while seven others sustained injuries of varying severity.
Troops of the Nigerian Army, along with emergency response teams, were swiftly deployed to the scene. The injured victims were evacuated to a nearby medical facility for treatment.
Security forces have since cordoned off the area to prevent any potential follow-up attacks or the infiltration of additional suspects.
