Suspect arrested for attempting to bring bomb into bank

A man, yet to be identified, was apprehended for possessing a bomb on the premises of a bank in Dadin Kowa town, located in the Jos South area of Plateau State.

As soon as it was discovered that the suspect had a bomb in his possession, an alarm was raised, and swift action was taken to restrain him and prevent a potential tragedy.

According to a post by security analyst Zagazola Makama on X on Tuesday, the vigilante security at the bank played a crucial role in thwarting the attack by spotting the suspect.

In response to the situation, an angry mob confronted the suspect and reportedly called for his execution.

Subsequently, the suspect was handed over to the police for thorough investigation.

A photo attached to Makama’s post depicted the bomb strapped around the suspect’s abdomen.

However, it remains unclear whether the suspect has any ties to terrorist organizations operating in the country.
