Tenant reportedly defiles 7-year-old daughter of landlord in Oyo
One Kareem Mojeed has allegedly defiled his landlord’s seven-year-old daughter in Oyo State.
He was said to have committed the offence on July 21 at 5.00p.m. at Ebedi area of Ibadan .
The suspect was arraigned before an Iyaganku Family Court, sitting in Ibadan on Wednesday for the offence.
The Chief Magistrate, Mrs Olabisi Ogunkanmi, ordered that Mojeed be remanded in the Agodi Correctional facility.

Ogunkanmi, who did not take Mojeed’s plea, ordered that the case file should be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for advice.
Ogunkanmi adjourned the cae until Oct. 14 for DPP’s advice.
Earlier, the Prosecutor, Insp Gbemisola Adedeji, told the court that Mojeed lured the girl into his room and defiled her.
The police said the offence contravenes the provisions of Section 34 of the Oyo State Child’s Rights Law, 2006
