Five commanders of the Islamic State West Africa Province and 30 fighters were arrested during a joint operation launched by the Department of State Services, the National Intelligence Agency, the police, and other security agencies.
The alleged terrorists were detained at a DSS facility after being apprehended at their various hideouts in Abuja, Mararaba, and other remote regions of the Federal Capital Territory, according to Punch Newspaper.
