Thieves break into Lagos RRS commander’s vehicle, steal brain box, gadgets
Many are bewildered as robbers brazenly broke into the official vehicle of the commander of the Lagos State Rapid Response Squad (RRS) stationed at the headquarters and carted away its brain box with other vital equipment.
The shocking episode unfolded on the night of Sunday December 15, leaving officers astounded as they awoke the following morning to discover the commander’s Toyota Hilux vandalised.
The culprits shattered the windscreen, stole the brain box, and other valuable gadgets—right under the noses of armed policemen on the premises.
The situation has fuelled speculation and sparked public outrage.
Some insiders said that this might not have been a random act, hinting at possible foul play or even an insider conspiracy.
Questions being asked include: Where were the officers on duty when the thieves struck? Why weren’t the CCTV cameras operational?
