Third Mainland Bridge vandal arrested in Lagos with 21 railings

Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a 28-year-old man, Yakubu Yusuf, for vandalizing the railings of the Third Mainland Bridge.

The spokesperson of the command, Benjamin Hundeyin, who disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, said 21 long pieces of aluminium railings were recovered while efforts were on to arrest other fleeing suspects.

“Officers of Onikan Division after receiving information of the activities of some vandals who were vandalizing the railings of the bridge by Old School of Nursing inward Third Mainland Bridge, arrested one Yakubu Yusuf ‘m’ aged 28 and twenty-one (21) long pieces of aluminium railings were recovered. The investigation is on to arrest other fleeing suspects,” the PPRO stated.
