The police command in Ondo State says it has arrested three male secondary school students for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl.
According to Funmilayo Odunlami, Ondo police spokesperson, the students are from Akure High School in the state.
The victim is said to be a junior student of the same school.
Odunlami said the suspects committed the crime in a nearby bush close to the back of the school gate.
One of the suspects was said to have made love advances to the victim, which she rejected.
The case was reported in the police station after the victim came into the classroom with bloodstains on her uniform.
The three suspects are currently in the custody of the police.
The Ondo incident is the latest of reports on crime involving secondary school students, TheCable reports.
