Tinubu breaks silence on opposition coalition

The president made the remarks while speaking during a one-day official visit to Nasarawa State on Wednesday.

“Do not be swayed by the noise of coalition groups; they are political internally displaced persons (IDPs). Don’t pay them any attention,” the President said.

Tinubu’s comments come amid growing speculation over plans by opposition figures, including former Vice President and 2023 presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, to form a broad alliance ahead of the next general elections.
