Tinubu holds first meeting with new service chiefs
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has held his first meeting with new service chiefs at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The meeting on Monday was also attended by Acting Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun.
This is coming two weeks after the President approved their appointments.
The National Security Adviser (NSA), Malam Nuhu Ribadu, who was appointed on the same day (June 19), led the security chiefs and Acting IGP to the meeting.
The new service chiefs are Chief of Defence Staff, Major General Christopher Musa, Chief of Army Staff, Major General Taoreed Lagbaja, Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla, and Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Hassan Abubakar.
