Tinubu meets Adamu, Omisore in Abuja
President Bola Tinubu has held a meeting with former national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Adamu, and former national secretary of the party, Iyiola Omisore, at the presidential villa in Abuja.
Both men arrived together for the meeting and were seen leaving after the session at about 1.30pm on Tuesday.
Adamu and Omisore resigned from their positions a week ago, following a meeting of the APC national working committee (NWC).
There are allegations of funds mismanagement against the duo.
Adamu was said not have accounted for huge funds collected from APC members seeking elective posts ahead of the last general elections.

Omisore had also been accused of mismanaging funds meant for campaigns in Osun state.
The resignations of both men fuelled reports of upheaval within the party.
However, the APC dismissed the insinuations as speculative.
No official statement was issued on what was discussed at the meeting.
Abubakar Kyari has since assumed office as acting chairman and Festus Fuanter as the acting national secretary
Abdullahi Ganduje, former governor of Kano, has been mentioned as President Tinubu’s preferred candidate for the national chairmanship position.
Gboyega Oyetola, former governor of Osun, and Ajibola Basiru, former spokesperson for the Senate, are said to have shown interest in the national secretary office.
Adamu had earlier indicated that he would consult with Tinubu before commenting on his alleged resignation.
