Tinubu putting smiles on Nigerians’ faces – Wike

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has praised President Bola Tinubu’s leadership style, declaring that it is delivering real results and putting smiles on the faces of Nigerians.

Wike made the remarks on Saturday in Abuja during an inspection of ongoing projects ahead of events marking President Tinubu’s second year in office.

According to the minister, Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope Agenda” is not just a slogan but a transformative vision that is already improving infrastructure and quality of life, especially in the nation’s capital.

His words: “I have said before that leadership is a major issue. When you have the right leadership, people will benefit from it.

“Mr. President has shown that he is willing to change Nigeria and make people happy. His Renewed Hope Agenda is working.”

Wike stated that Abuja, under Tinubu’s administration, has witnessed visible development, with first-class infrastructure being delivered to residents.

He said: “All of you can attest to the fact that indeed, Abuja has really changed. We are happy for it and thank God Almighty for providing the right leadership through Mr. President to deliver the dividends of democracy.”

Taking a swipe at critics, Wike said that only those who refuse to see progress would deny Tinubu’s impact.

“Only the blind or a pessimist will disagree that Tinubu is working for the good of the country,” he said.

He concluded by saying that his greatest satisfaction comes from the positive response of the public,

“What makes us happy is when people are happy. We are working for our people, and we are proud to be fulfilling the promises we made,” he said.
