Toyota set to open world-class certified service centre in Lagos

Toyota Nigeria Limited is soon to enter a new phase in its after-sale service package as it has announced that its world-class certified service centre will be inaugurated in Lagos “in a few months”.

This is coming as the auto giant gears up for its 25th anniversary in Nigeria, which it says will be marked quietly.

Managing Director of the company, Mr Kunle Ade-Ojo, disclosed this during the unveiling of Toyota Starlet at the Lekki-Lagos headquarters of the TNL.

Ade-Ojo, who was represented by the TNL General Manager, Corporate Services, Mr Bunmi Onafowokan, at the event, said, “Quality after-sales service is an essential component of our business value chain. We have consciously continued to improve on our after-sales service delivery and bringing such services closer to our teeming customers.

“In a few months’ time, we would commission our world-class Certified Service Centre (CSC) at Isolo, Lagos.

“This facility has a body and paint section, a workshop and a parts section among other services available. With all sense of responsibility, I wish to note that this centre is second-to-none in Nigeria when compared to others, on the pedestal of equipment, highly trained manpower and exceptional service delivery.”

Ade-Ojo also stated that the centre would be unique in serving as a fertile training ground for all technicians of accredited Toyota dealers in Nigeria, giving them hands-on experience.

Toyota Nigeria, he said, would continue to provide unrivalled services to its customs as well as invest in the nation’s auto sector in line with the government’s policy of revolutionising the industry.

His words: “Toyota (Nigeria) Limited will not only continue to invest in the Nigerian automobile industry but also align with the aspirations of the Nigerian government to revolutionise the local industry.

“Year 2021 marks our 25th year of being in the automobile business in Nigeria. It is going to be marked quietly while thanking God for bringing us thus far as our investments and our dealers spread across Nigeria.”
