At least four persons have lost their lives after a deadly clash broke out between two local security outfits in Bauchi State.

The incident happened during the recent Eid-el-Fitr celebration in the north east State.

Among the deceased during the clash, which also left many others injured, is the son of a traditional ruler.

The two local security groups involved in the violence are Yan Ba Beli, an armed group fighting bandits, and a group of hunters accompanying the District Head of Miri.

Trouble began when the Yan Ba Beli group reportedly disrupted a traditional procession to the Government House on Wednesday leading to a confrontation.
