A traffic warden and five other persons have been crushed by a truck in Yola, the capital of Adamawa State.
A witness told City & Crime that the driver of the truck lost control at a junction in Vinukilang settlement on the outskirts of Yola and that the truck rammed into a mechanic workshop and in the process killed the victims.
A trader, Yakubu Ayuba, said the truck’s driver ran away, a development that angered youths who set the truck ablaze and that fire from the burning vehicle spread to some shops.
