Tribunal dismisses APP petition against Tinubu election

The Action Peoples Party (APP) has withdrawn his petition challenging the February 25 presidential election.

Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress was declared winner of the election.

A five-member presidential election panel of judges led by Justice Haruna Tsammani dismissed the case after the party announced its withdrawal of the petition.

At the resumed hearing, counsel to the APP, Obed Agu Esq announced that the party and its presidential candidate, Simon Nnadi, have decided to withdraw the petition.

He gave no further reason for the withdrawal.
