Troops foil Infiltration attempt, neutralize 10 insurgents in Borno ambush
Troops of Operation HADIN KAI have recorded another operational success in Borno State, neutralizing 10 insurgents and recovering a cache of arms and equipment during a night ambush along the Gamboru–Dikwa–Marte axis.
The encounter, which occurred on 25 October 2025, came just days after troops neutralized over 50 terrorists around the Katarko axis. According to a statement issued by Lieutenant Colonel Sani Uba, Media Information Officer of the Joint Task Force (North East) Operation HADIN KAI, the latest operation was executed by Sector 1 troops of the 24 Task Force Brigade.
The insurgents were intercepted while attempting to infiltrate Gamboru Ngala from the Flatari axis. Their movement was disrupted during a coordinated night raid, forcing them to divert toward Dikwa, where they ran into another ambush along the Dikwa–Marte road.
