Troops kill Boko Haram terrorists in raid on Borno enclave
The Nigerian Army on Monday said its men have killed at least eight terrorists in Borno state in a fresh offensive.
The terrorists were neutralised on Sunday in Bula Marwa, just ahead of Siraja village in the beleaguered State.
They were eliminated by the troops conducting counter-terrorism and counter-insurgency operations under the aegis of Operation HADIN KAI in North East Nigeria.
The army, in a statement, said the troops raided the terrorists’ enclave in the early hours of Sunday, neutralizing the terrorists in a fierce gun battle.
According to the statement, the raid was carried out in conjunction with the Hybrid/Civilian Joint Task Force.
