Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has opened up about her emotional struggles in a recent video shared on social media, hinting at possible mental distress amid ongoing marital and family challenges.

In the emotional clip posted on her Instagram story on Friday, Daniels broke down in tears, saying she feels like she is “going crazy” while contemplating a possible return to her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.

“I tried. I feel like I’m going crazy, I’m losing my mind, and it’s not making any sense. I’m really crying in front of everybody,” she said in the viral video.

The actress, who has recently been in the spotlight over reports of marital problems and the arrest of her brother, Sammy West, said she has been under intense emotional pressure.

In another clip, fellow actress Mercy Johnson-Okojie was seen searching for Daniels’ detained brother, as Regina expressed frustration over the family’s ordeal.

“But please, what am I even begging for? I don’t know. Do you guys think it’s easy? Every time I wake up, I say one thing — oh my brother, today I hear good news, he’s about to be free, then tomorrow I hear another thing. Like, what’s the problem? But I’ve tried. I have to go. I will go back,” she said tearfully.

Daniels’ outburst comes amid growing public concern over her well-being and the ongoing legal troubles involving her brother, who was reportedly arrested and moved from Lagos to Abuja under unclear circumstances.

The actress’s emotional confession has drawn widespread reactions from fans and colleagues, many of whom have urged her to seek professional help and prioritize her mental health.

Observers say the unfolding situation underscores the toll that fame, family crises, and public scrutiny can take on entertainers in the spotlight.

Regina Daniels celebrates parents’ reunion after years of separation

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has shared her joy over the reconciliation of her parents after years of estrangement, calling the moment a long-awaited answer to her prayers.

In a Facebook post on Thursday, Daniels revealed that her parents—who had been at odds for years—have reunited in Abuja, where they are jointly working to secure the release of her brother, Sammy, who is reportedly in detention.

“Two concluded sworn enemies reuniting with no negative ulterior motive other than their daughter’s happiness. And I dare question God for putting me in this situation?” she wrote.

Expressing frustration over her brother’s prolonged detention, the actress vowed to do whatever it takes to secure his freedom.

“Sammy’s detainment is taking way too long but we will get him out even if I have to march there myself and create a storm! Since they want me!” she said.

Daniels also spoke fondly of her parents, describing her father as “one of the biggest lawyers back in the day” and her mother, actress Rita Daniels, as a “powerhouse” devoted to her children.

“My father is a lawyer… and my mother? She’s a powerhouse! They would do anything for their children. I love you, mom and dad! This is all I actually ever wanted,” she added.

The post comes amid continued public attention on Daniels’ turbulent marriage to billionaire politician Ned Nwoko.

In October, the actress sparked concerns after a viral video suggested she was experiencing domestic violence. Seen in tears, she lamented: “In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing. But in my house, I am a queen… I can’t stand the violence, it’s too much.”

Nwoko denied the allegations, accusing Daniels of “drug and alcohol abuse” and claiming she needed rehabilitation.

The actress has since vowed to fight for custody and protection of her children.

Daniels’ latest post has stirred public sympathy, with many users celebrating her parents’ reunion and calling for justice in Sammy’s case.
