Two people arrested in Lagos with huge ammunition
The Lagos State Police Command has uncovered large cache of ammunition at 1 Moshalashi Street, Mushin, Lagos and arrested a male and female in connection with the arms.
Spokesman for the command Benjamin Hundeyin in a statement on X thanked Lagosians for the timely information which led to the arrest and recovery of ammunition.
Hundeyin said at about 1.00am, responding to a distress call on the presence of armed men on Agoro Street, Mushin, the police tactical team based in Surulere swiftly moved in and arrested Sherrif Mustapha, 42, and Suturat Lateef, 28, while one other escaped.
