Two suspected drug dealing brothers attack police officers in Edo
Two brothers have been arrested for attacking police officers and dealing in illicit drugs in Edo State.
The suspects, Adodo Irorehe (62) and his brother, Godwin Isaac Irorehe (40), were arrested by Raider Squad of the Edo State Police Command command during a raid on black spot, where illicit drugs are sold.
The spokesperson of the command, SP Joel Moses Yamu, said the suspects who own the premises where the drugs are being sold, on sighting the police, brought out guns and fired several shots at the operatives and in the process damage their vehicle’s side mirror

Yamu said the police resisted the attack and arrested the suspects and also recovered arms and ammunition from them.
The PPRO listed the items recovered from the suspects during a search on them to include, one double barrel gun, one single barrel gun, four expended cartridges, nine live cartridges, weed suspected to be Indian hemp and other illicit drugs.
He said the suspects would be charged to court as soon as investigation is completed.
