Indomie Special Chicken Flavour
(UPDATED) Indomie Special Chicken Flavour not for Nigerian market – NAFDAC
Director-General of the National Agency for Food, Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC, Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye, has indicated that Nigerians may have no reason to worry over dangerous substance reportedly discovered in a particular flavour of the Indomie noodles, the Special Chicken Flavour.
She said the contentious flavour was never registered by the agency for sale in Nigeria.
Adeyeye said this as the agency commenced random sampling and analysis of Indomie noodles, including the seasoning, for the presence of ethylene oxide.
She assured Nigerians of a thorough investigation of the product, both at the factory and market levels.
