Students in public universities in Nigeria are to remain at home for another two months as the Academic Staff Union of Universities has extended its warning strike for this period.
This came on Monday after the expiration of the ASUU’s one-month warning strike to make the Federal Government to honour an earlier agreement with the union bordering on lecturers’ welfare and improved state of the universities.
The decision to extend the strike was taken at the union’s National Executive Council, NEC meeting held in Abuja last night.
