Victor Osimhen returns to Napoli for pre-season

Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, has linked up with his Napoli side at their training camp at Dimaro Folgarida camp for pre-season.

The Nigeria international was terrific for the Partenopeans last season, scoring 18 goals in 32 appearances.

And Osimhen has proven himself time and again that he could be reliable whenever he is on the pitch.

The Super Eagles star’s performances have attracted interest from some of the top teams in Europe.

Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea and Bayern Munich have all been linked with the 23-year-old hitman.

However, nothing concrete has materialized, especially as the Partenopeans are demanding in excess of €100 million.

Nonetheless, Osimhen does not seem affected by the transfer talks as he reported for his first pre-season training session on Tuesday at Dimaro Folgarida, all smiles.

The Nigerian striker has been rather coy on revealing if he wants out of Naples.

However, he remains open to leaving the club if a suitable deal comes.

Osimhen has always revered retired Ivory Coast striker, Didier Drogba, referring to him as his idol.

And because Drogba made his name at Chelsea, Osimhen could fancy a transfer to the London giants if a decent offer arrives.
