Men of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) on Friday beat up a veil-wearing Muslim woman, Zainab Adelani and her husband around Alagbado area of Ogun State.
Newsbreak.ng reports that the police officers removed Mrs Adelani’s veil and had her exposed to everyone.
They also beat up the husband and had two of his teeth removed.
According to journalist Fatteh Hamid, “I was informed that they were men from the Olomowewe Police Station, Adiyan, Alagbado Area of Ogun State.”
This newspaper understands that the couple are currently in police custody.
It is not immediately clear the offence they were arrested for.
